By Randy Brock watched the mine tragedy
unfold Jan. 2 in Sago, The Brock, a construction worker who grew up around coal mines and has been trained to work in them, works in the coal power-generation industry. While watching the events unfold on television, Brock, who had dabbled in music writing when his son was born 30 years ago, began to strum a song in his mind. "I was sitting there watching TV and I thought 'Someone should write a song about this.' I took out my guitar, and about 45 minutes later, I had the song written." He titled it " Brock wanted to share this tribute with others and, at the same time, give something back to the victims' families. With this in mind, Brock hired Soundscape Studio to help record the song, and Blue Collar Records agreed to produce the song for mass distribution. Eddie Pokusa, Brock's cousin through marriage, sang the lyrics for the CD. Brock set up the Brock says " "All of us involved are pleased
